thermo fan probs

Hey guys as it states my little micra is getting hot and the thermo does not come on at all. we have checked the fuse and it seems all ok but the plug going onto the fan has a active earth but no power.

I there a temp switch i may need to replace or something else to look out for.

Does the thermo come one if you switch the air con on? (if fitted)

Temp control switch is pretty common, I had the same problem in mine.
Bursons sell it for about $15-$20. Part No TCS075

um.... not sure. i have removed the aircon in the past and to be honest am unsure if it has worked since. was sitting with it idling the ohter night and it started to get hot had a look and noticed it was not on. i will have a look tomorrow if it does when i turn the fan etc on. where is the temp switch located?

under the dizzy sik11, my fan kicks in if i bridge the 2 wires on the ecu temp sensor (handy for testing the fan)

If needed I have a spare thermo in the shed. Worked fine until I replaced the radiator with a PWR item and S.P.A.L fan.
