The saga continues!

And its beginning to wind me up.

This misfiring/power loss/choking (i cant really define what happens). It happened before when i was going into a roundabout with a sainsburys truck heading towards me on my right, its now becoming dangerous.

I changed the fuel filter and nothing changed. It seems to mainly happen when i fill it up with petrol, perhaps it performs differently from different garages.

help.

Have you changed airflow meter? Thats ususally the problem in cases like this.

This is exactly what i don't want to be doing.

Spending money un-neccesarily when fixing the problem could be cheap. I doubt its a common fault, just the previous owner being a lazy and not servicing the car and driving it badly.

K11 Air flow meter, idling problems etc

My daughters Micra became a real pig; idling all over the place, cutting out approaching junctions and pulling off.
I found a suggested fix on the Australian web site.
Open the plate on the side of the airflow box (held on by mastic) Its under the aircleaner on the Offside snd on the side of the airflow meter.
Resolder the six connections at the front edge of the box, three on the wires in and three on the PCB.
Close up the box with fresh mastic.
All is fine now. Much cheaper than a new meter.
May be worth a try to solve such a lot of problems.
