ITS ALIVE! ITS AAAAALLLLLLLIIIIIIVVVVVEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOOOWWWAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!

The rebuild is almost complete, I have replaced four complete sections of the loom, the starter motor, most of the fuel system, and three of the coolant hoses.

I went on holiday for a fortnight half way through the job which is why its taken me so long to get to this stage.

I have had the body checked out and it is as sound as a pound.

Yesterday, I was finally at the stage where i could turn the key, and let the beast burst back into life.

She is back and better than ever.

now kitted out with a fuel pressure guage (reason she was overheating before) new fse valve internals (cause of the fire in the first place) and a fuel/air ratio meter to keep an eye on things.

should be on the road again very shortly (pending bonnet respray)

oh, and she is still up for sale by the way (a lot cheaper than i was asking before, PM for details if interested)

happy to be back guys.

Dont have may photos of the rebuild, just a couple i think. Will post asap though.

was jumping up and down like an idiot when she started.

It was a really really big job requiring a donor car, and lots of new parts to be bought, and made too.

but with the new setup, she should be a couple of tenths faster down the quarter though.
