Tempest bonnet on a LX??

If I take the grill off my LX will i be able to fit the bonnet from a tempest it place of my bonnet without making alterations to my headlights?

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. The Tempest was a K11 facelift model and I'm assuming that since your talking about removing the grille you have a pre-facelift model (the facelift K11's grille was built into the bonnet itself).

I beleive that if you wanted to change it, you would need to replace the wings, headlights, etc.

not possible im afraid without swapping the lot (lights, wings, bonnet, slam panel, bonnet latch panel and maybe a few more bits)

yea a tempest is 2001 onwards and a facelift...it is possible but like gam1984 said you need facelift headlights,frontwings and front bumper because the headlights dip into the bumper

Thanks for the replies, i had a feeling the headlights would be a problem i had no idea it would require the swap of all the front panels, maybe i will just stick getting a tempest replica grille on my LX.
