Temperature Details

Hey peeps,

Does anyone know at what temperature does the Micra Radiator Fan suppose to cut in at? I have mine set around the 93 degree mark at present and was wondering what it is on a standard car?

The usual temperature for the thermostat to open is at 88 degrees. So I'm guessing not too far after that? Sorry if this reply doesn't help, lol.

mine doesn't kick in until 97degrees

I know thermostat's open at 88degrees but the fan must be alot higher than that.

97degrees? how did you measure it or is that what you have it set to?

I have an ecutalk reader which has accurate temp reading on it, i was suprised how high it went tbh, but it seems to be fine, goes down to about 92degrees then cuts off again.
