Swapping out to performance air intake on K12 1.2 Sport + 2005

I've been doing some research on upgrades. Will there be much benefit swapping out the standard air intake on my Micra for a performance one? Can anyone recommend which one and are they reasonably easy to fit as I'm a complete newb.

Get a k&n panel filter they are a straight fit.

Sounds good at higher rpm.

Dont expect a big performance increase

Does your 1.2 have 65 or 85 hp ?

Yes get the k&n panel. I've had mine in a year and just serviced it with a kit. Sounds a bit better. Not much in terms of increased power but teamed with upgraded exhaust system and manifold, it should do the trick.

I thought it has 78 hp . Were there Sport+ 1.2 versions with 65 hp?

We do have them in the netherlands

In Fin(e)land we have 1.2 with 65 or 80 hp.
