i just smashed into the back of someone at a round about! i want to cry grr , ive smashed the bonnet, the passenger wing, lights, slam panel?(the horizontal bar behind the bumper). il post pics as soon as i get home. im absolutley tamping its the first day ive had the car back since removing the head giving it a thorough clean and skim. the engine is running mint and now this! all i can say is thank ###### i finish college next week because il have time to try repairing it. im really worried itl be a write off tho but im hoping for the best. the car i hit was a mate and the damage to his car looks quite minimal but ive dented a crumple zone above the rear bumper,(write off?) it wont go through insurance but i definately owe him!

its not that bad i dont think new bumper and no plate prob but the crumple area is kinda worrying me. its a pre facelift 306 1.9td, tbh it looks like f all compared to my damage.

i wasnt driving like an idiot tho thas quite a gutting thing! i was doing bout about 15 mph, looked to see if the round about was clear and saw a 306 bout 2meters in front locked up for bout a foot a bump!

:laugh: its not declared dead yet and i appreciate people want stuff off my car but i only just crashed. i have a donnor car and ive got loads of spare time in the summer to fix it! (hopefully) im not giving anything away without a fight:laugh: il keep everyone informed about the repair work if its possible! il post pics tomorrow!

my uncle is coming to mine sat morning and hes a crash mechanic (or something like that) i explained the damage to him and he thinks itl be okay, but im really unsure on one part in particular but time will tell! on the plus side the super s bumper sum how survived the ordeal!:laugh: the steering is fine, so providing the structual damage is not too bad itl be back on the road end of next week, and itl be an excuse for a respay in the summer!! also there was a fair bit of rust on the front of the engine bay so i can rip it all out find a replacement and have it sand blasted an painted to go back on!

ive decided to hold on the press release untill sunday due to the fact that the damage is really concerning me i thought it would be a good idea to find off a specialised mechanic what actually makes it a write off before posting pics of it and then repairing my car! just trying to cover my arse before showing proof that its written off! THERE WILL BE PICS ON SAT OR SUN THO (and if theres parts really blurred dont ask questions!
