Stiff steering

So I fitted a boss to my micra today it's a 98 with power steering, when I turn with the engine on the steering is really stiff and even with the boss finger tight it's still stiff, anyone know what's wrong? Thanks in advance

Much smaller diameter steering wheel?
Flat tyres,?
broken front road spring?

No it's fine now I realised that when I fitted the boss I didn't take off the circle airbag thing (I don't know the technical name) the black and yellow one, I didn't take it off so it made it stiff

That's the squib, makes your airbag go - BANG !!!!!!

Yes that's one haha but I had battery and fuse for airbags off so luckily I got away with it

Is the power steering actually working. Was it ok before the steering wheel change.

Yeah it's fine now I found the problem it was the black and yellow thing I decided to just bolt my boss over the top of it so it made it hard to steer now I took it off its all good again
