Steve's (Imarc) adopted Micra

I've adopted this micra since my Alfa blew up

You guys have given me lots of inspiration for improving it on a budget while save up enough for a Skyline.

Initial pics taken this morning, only mods were a new headunit and iPod holder, and the pool ball gearknob, fits perfectly in the palm of my hand (cue knob gags)....

neat little micra, it looks good i am sure it will serve you well :D

and its nice to hear that some people have a knob that fits so well into their hand, mine is too big for that :p

Nex, I presume you mean your hand is too big

Finally dragged myself off Micra Kart Wii to add the pics from this afternoon.

I've fitted some seat covers and started debadging and given it a clean.

Next is lowering springs and if funds allow wheels and some speakers for the back shelf.

Just removed the front and back Nissan badges, the fun removing the sticky stuff means I'm really looking forward to removing the bump strips, NOT
Covered the holes at the back and continued the Dragon theme to the outside. I had the same for the front but removing the original badge revealed a small stone chip which grew as the badge came off. PANTS!
Need to get some touch up paint first, had to anyway for a couple of scratches on the drivers side. Can I get touch up paint for the Micra for Halfords or better off going to a dealer?

Next little jobs:
Pioneer speakers for rear shelf, 2 just ain't enough now
Club stickers as soon as they arrive
Flat blade wipers, others got trashed by the recent snow
Paint the steelies black-silver
Remove bump strips and 16-valve badges on the sides

Latest modification courtesy of a passing scaffolding lorry.

I'm doing approx 70 on a rural dual carriageway when I see a grey object spinning toward my face, braked and swerved slightly for obvious reasons (I like my face the way it is):grinning:
When I get home I find a scaffold clasp wedged behind the bumper, front grill smashed, bonnet dented and the headlight bracket broken.
Just grateful I didn't end up in hospital or worse - and the radiator wasn't cracked.

Now thinking of an open grill and a matt black bonnet
Anyone got an open mouth grill for sale?

Bloody Hell, lucky guy. Micra looking good though apart from the recent mod above, lol.

I have the same seat covers as you, I got matching mats from Littlewood Clearance place in heckmondwike.

Got the matching mats with the covers, does the job nicely.
Off to see if the local scrappy has a suitable bonnet.
I might get lucky....

Still not found a replacement bonnet locally yet.
Open mouth grille supposedly still in the post.
And just booked it in for its mot tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

Halfway between Basingstoke and Reading.

It failed its mot, but only on a headlight (bulb is fine though) and front brake pads.

Bad Boy bonnet and op0en mouth grille provisionally fitted (cheers Broony)

Almost tempted to leave it like that and go for the rat-look.

How it looks now, just waiting for the primer to dry so off for some lunch first.

Will add more pics later, including previous interior updates which I forgot to add on here.

The finished article, matt black bad bonner and open mouth grill:

Sorry for the delay, but this no longer my daily driver. The wife is now using this Bad Boy fwn

looking good (Y) did the missus like what you did to it then?

To be honest she probably wouldn't have noticed unless someone had pointed it out to her.
She's just grateful for the cheap reliable runabout.
