It in my opinion is not worth it. From what i read you need to either mount the motor where it sits now but the drive shafts are way off and you chew through CV's to much or you have to move the fire wall back like 2 inches. Way to much work.

Just turbo the motor and put that in there

Usually anything to do with an engine conversion will involve custom CV joints and engine mounts.
Not to mention possibly having to cut firewall/rails for it to fit which isnt safe/legal

For instance, some people in the UK have done a GA16 conversion. Most of it is a direct fit apart from the fact the water pump doesnt and as a result an option is to cut the rail on the drivers side to make way for the pulley. The safe option is to run an electric water pump.

Do your research, head to the wreckers with a measuring tape and go from there.
I've seen one micra with a 1.6 engine in Australia. Do a search on this site and go from there.

edit: Search results on here
Your search returned 165 results: SR20
Your search returned 90 results: GA16

Heres the link.

Not true, there's a few ways of doing it. I'm pretty sure a Turbo 2l is unregisterable in a micra, if u work it out using the weight/ engine size multipliers. And yes you would need custom driveshafts.
