Smoked side repeaters

Purchased a set off ebay for a post 98> micra but the fitting are completely different, anyone had a similar experience? or where can i buy a set that doesn't need work?

yep 1998<2000 models have a different side repeater and bulb holder to the 2000< models so you will need the 1998<2000 bulb holders from a scrap yard etc... take the new side repeater with you to make sure you get the right bulb holder! oh and they will fit the car cuz the cut out in the front wing is the same on both models
(the pre 1998 cars are totaly different)

thx for the quick reply, just so that I'm clear although from the outside they look the same, the 98-00 year models have a different internal bulb holder than the 00-02 models for the side repeaters, cheers

yep thats right!

why not tint them your self you could pick up a tin of tinting spray for about £7 that way you can have them as dark or as light as you want them to be

Update, got some wiring and the right plug from a 1999 Micra in the scrap yard, a little cut and shunt later and all is well : -)
