screen wash leaking

hi there on my l reg k11 , the rear windscreen wiper works , however the screen wash doesent come out of the back nozels , i pocked the holes with a needle however , still they dont work

when u try2 get screen wash to the back windscreen it just leaks into the boot ?

will this be costly to fix ? how do i go about solving or fixing the problem?

you need to locate the split in the washer pipe. it should be inside the top of the tailgate if it's leaking into the boot. but also check above the rear of the headliner.

yep had same problem with my primera. the 1 way valve on the pipe had split

Or the pipe could have just popped off the jet, trace it back by pulling back the trim and see if you can get at it.

unlikely though. most probably as mentioned, split in pipe caused by continuosly opening and closing boot or faulty 1 way valve, if the micra has one.
