Scrap Value Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

right heres just a quick remimder for the people who are still living 6 months behind, scrap value has fallen a bit,well not a bit, alot in fact

aluminium is down £250 per tonne
copper down £500 per tonne
alloy down £250 per tonne
steel down £250 per tonne

so basically your average micra is scrapping for 40 quid, plus 15 for the cat,

anyway just thought id let you all know

yearh i went and scarpped some stuff on friday, its about £60 a tonne now.

I suppose you can't have it all the time....I'm more cheesed off with the Local scrappys around here which are now empty due to the 'money making scheme'....:devil:

yeah its hit some people quite hard, mind you its affecting the new boys more, the old scrappies are just back to what they were normally making, the past year was just a bonus, a bloody good one at that
