Rim Size

hey I'm hoping to buy 17"rims for my car but i don't know if they will fit. The Rims are 7.5" wide and 42mm offset. I am putting 205/40-17 on them. Please let me know if they would fit or not, and if not tell me a good size for those rims.

i had 205/40/16 and rim size were 16 by 17 +42 offset on mine before guards needed to be rolled a bit but they fitted. may just have to roll the guards...

the thing is after measuring everything i figured out the rims will fit but the only problem is its too wide and when i turn it will hit the inside wall.

Ok how about 16" x 7 or 6.5

6.5 should be ok if the guards are rolled and if tge car isnt too low.

I am personally looking at 14x7 +12 which should fit dependin on the level of low i choose
