Replacement horn

I'm in the final stages of prepping our K11 Micra for this years Mongol Rally and noticed that the horn is completely pathetic.

I know it sounds strange but there may be times when we need something more than a tiny 'beep' to scare various stray creatures (camels, horses etc) of roads and tracks.

Is there something I can use as a direct replacement for the original weedy horn that will give a bit more noise without resorting to air horns or additional wiring?

Perhaps it's possible to simply exchange a more substantial standard horn another car? Am I risking electrical issues by doing this?

Thanks

Replacement horns

And you're just able to disconnect the existing horn from its wiring and plug them on to the PIAA/Escort/ANOther horn?

Could this cause any potential electrical issues?

it will be fine mate ....you might have to change the connector as this may differ to another horn but thats about it

bear in mind that some horns are constant live and signaled via earth tho eh  (the ones with 2 connectors iirc)

OK, I've checked the existing setup on my car and the horn is connected by a single wire (with plug) on to just one spade terminal. The vast majority of horns for sale seem to have two spade terminals. Would I have to somehow split my single wire to to attach it to a double-terminal horn or would I just connect the existing plug to one of the two terminals?

Sorry for the uselessness of my question...

there used to be a screw or nut on the rear of horns and on the majority there still is, a good soaking with wd and a turn either way re tunes them louder or softer....
