Removing orange tint from 2002 head lights

Hi!! So I know to get the head light apart I need to cook it on a low temperature for around 5 to 10 minutes

But once it is in 2 parts is the orange tint stuck to the glass or is it just a clip off cover?

to reseal the head light what do you lot use?

The Orange is a seperate piece of plastic that pops out.

Any decent silicon type sealant really for keeping the wet out
