rear brake adjustment

Hi,
could any one run through for me how the rear brakes are adjusted on a 2006 1.5dci K12.
Before you all say they are self adjusting, I know, but it never works as well as it should.

if it's anything like a k11, the adjustment is within the drum.

Hubs off, find the adjuster, give it a few turns. Keep checking the hub will refit. Find a nice happy medium, hub goes on tightly, but spins ok when it does. Refit everything. What a difference to the handbrake, fantastic.
Please do not just take the play out of the handbrake cable, adjust the automatic adjusters in the rear hubs. Automatic my *rse:laugh:
