what actually does re soldering do to cure all the problems it does. what happens to the throttle body

the re-soldering cures the dry solder joints (ensuring a good contact)
and i think the symptoms are, an erratic tickover and stalling

hi frank mine ticks over fine my wife just went out in it and was fine.cant fathom it out.my sympton are random extreme loss of power.

took it to two garages today and they dont know whats wrong cos theres no orange light on they told me to take it to nissan.

really you need a mechanic to drive it around till it develops the fault, coz were just guessing else eh ?
a good clue, would be the exhaust note when its doing it, thats all i can suggest !

the dry joints can also cause poor fuel economy and an occasional miss.Is there is a mechanic with Nissan Diagnostic software near you?
