yeah man, this was the most amazing race meet i have ever been to.
The Group A's were SO "awesome"!

Thats Kevin Bartlett's camaro, and he was there racing it.
That fellow in the mustang is Glenn Seton. WOW he was fair up the bum of Mark Skaife's skyline so fun to watch. The best duel of the day!

Wow, some great photos NoJammin.

Looks like there were some very rare and beautiful cars at the event.

The green Mini is cool !.

The one with "GPO" on the number plate is an AC Ace (the forerunner of the AC Cobra)... Extremely rare even in the UK. I suspect it's probably the only one in Australia.

I would love you have a drive of one of those "George Fury" style R31 Nissan Skylines... I remember them running at Bathurst when I was really young.

Great pics ( as usual)Matty.Memories come flooding back. Remember I think the first AC Cobra which came to Lakeside. Surrounded by a gaggle of Cooper Ss, Ford Cortina GT s etc. It hosed everything off down the straight but got cleaned up around the back of the circut. In the end its brakes gave up.
That Datto 1600 SSS would be fun to have a go in . Don Holland's Coopers S also. In fact all of em would be great to drive.
Well done Matty.
