ps2 laser help please

Hi all, does anyone know how easy it is to fit a ps2 laser?, the reason im askeing is because the comp shop is wanting £60 to fit a new one which i cant afford. I can probably pick a lazer up for around £15/£20 and fit it myself if someone on here can help that is, thx all regards all MTB

shud be handy enough, few screws holding the lazer down and a pulg for the info and power for it, id have a go at doing it yourself, you could almose buy a new one for the 80 that u will end up spending...

^^ there is a guide on getting the god damn thing open if u need help on that! i opened mine, but i just moved the lazer about and it was fine, dunno if yours is the same..worth a try though.
