Please help! I cannot measure my oil level

I am new k10 owner, and the first time I went to measure the oil level, I pulled out the dipstick and when it was time to put it in, I forced it in the wrong position which deformed the flexible metal part with the measures (Not the handle).

Then when I put it back in, in the correct position and pulled it out again, it shows a different level than I saw before. The dipstick flexible part was slightly curved when I bought the car, now is still curved but obviously not the same way as initially.

Now how I am supposed to know the correct bending of the dipstick? Why don't they just make straight dipsticks? If you have a straight dipstick and accidentaly bend it you can easily restore the initial state.
Anyone has a picture of their dipstick that can post it here?

Thanks
