which ones a good one for a 48 000 mile 1.3 engine?

got this down here inside at the moment doing some flushing with it and new filter

Hi, either of the 5w/30 fully synthetic castrol oils, so i'd go for the opel one as it's a bit cheaper, i've got this in my 75000 mile 1.4 at the minute. (Y)

I remember when my dad was constantly running my engine of 20w 50....

No wonder its a sludge pit :'),

Think i run 10w 40 now, does the treat, and since the micra engine can rev quite hard and highly, i like to be certain the oil can lubricate adequately!

(Soon you'l have a pro come along and talk about viscosities etc hehe)

5w30 is better for cars that do frequent shorter journies I think? 10w40 is more the average though.
