Nuts!!!

I need a set of wheel nuts for the Micra, when I got the alloys they didn't have a set of wheel nuts in stock.

Gootta buy some as I got the alloys on the steelie nuts!!!

1. Anyone know the size??

I know it's M12 but dunno if it's a 1.25 or 1.5mm thread? n want it to have a 21mm hex head.

2. If anyone does know the size, anyone know where I can get some?

I only need 12 as I already have a set of locking nuts (threw the box away so can't look at size on that!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah she bought some nuts a few months back, if thats what she says then she's right

go to the scrap yard, go to the micra section, have a look on the floor around the where the wheels would be, pick 4 up and put them in your pocket then walk out, i had shed loads

I emailed http://www.speedshack.co.uk/ when i was looking for some alloy wheel nuts

told them the story about wanting 12 nuts as i'd already got locking wheel nuts and asked if they had anything suitable and they said they have them £1.25 each and they sent me a sample nut and it seems pretty good quality, not sure if thats a good price but i thought it was alright.

Here's what they put in the reply email-

For this wheel on a Micra we would normally supply an M12x1.25 chromed ‘BULGE NUT’ suitable for alloy wheels, this has a 60 degree taper seating as your McGard locks do.

These are £1.25 each inc VAT – I’ve attached a photo for your reference.

If your TSW wheels have a centre cap that covers the wheelnuts, you may need the shorter open ended chromed ‘BULGE NUT’ – same price.

The info I got from my locking wheel nuts was:-

Thred size - M12 x 1.25

Seating type - 60 degree

Shaft length - 32.5

Socket - 21mm

Hopefully thats some help.
