Nissan Micra 1996 Cooling Problem

Hello all in Micra Land.

Does anybody know whether the Kll has problems with the ECT Sensor, or an ECU Driver Problem? My Cooling fan does not come on with temperature rise and all is well with the fan motor and relay. Any ideas, and also where is the ECT Sensor located?

Sensor is under the distributor, beside the sensor that runs the dash gauge. Fan only comes on at around 95C, 2nd at 100C.
Your thermostat may be stuck open, preventing the water heating up?

Easiest wa to test it is to earth it out, if the fan starts the switch is faulty.
