Question for Nismo_K12.
Q1 - Nismo_K12 is it true you had a Nismo Front Grille in your UK Spec K12?
A - Yes i did.
Q2 - Was it difficult to fit?
A - Yes. The JDM March's use a different shape indicator. So when you try to fit the UK ones they don't line up and you cant screw them in.
Q3 - How did you overcome this
A - You have to buy the Nismo Indicators as well.
Q4 - Is it true that the JDM march's use a different bulb to the UK cars so when you fitted the grille and the indicators you couldn't fit the UK bulbs into the back of them?
A - Yes. The JDM march's use an LED bulb. To over come this i came up with a number of ideas.
Idea 1 - Fly to japan and troll through JDM scrapyards/dealers and find what i'm looking for. So in 2004 i went to japan for 10 days. I was unsuccesful. However i was able to get a wiring loom...but it was more hassle to fit so i declined it plus it was fairly expensive...

Idea 2 - Drill a geet big mahoosive whole in the back of the indicators to fit the UK bulbs...bad idea since they cost £170 and i would have cryed it i broke them....
Idea 3 - Fit smaller bulbs and paint them orange and live with the fact they flash orange much faster than normal bulbs.
Idea 3 went into practice. To be honest the grille looked good but it's not worth the hassle. Smoke your indicators and the chrome black.
In 2006 i sold the grill and setup to Kirton....not sure where it is now.
i think it's safe to say that mine was the 1st and possibly the only one in the country. Who's got my exhaust these days?

i bought nismo indicators for the impul bumper as that was the only ones that fitted all i did was drill a hole at the back of the indicators and zip tied on the indicator stalks if you want you can have them for 100 notes
