Newbie question on door mirrors

Hi

I've just bought an X-reg K11 5dr auto as it seems the best car for me as I was recently disabled and can't drive a manual any more. I love the car so far but I have a few questions and wondered if anyone could help. The passenger door mirror seems to be fine but when I try to adjust it using the manual joystick, it moves a bit but isn't really responsive like the driver's door mirror. Is there a quick and easy way to service this part or get it working again or do I have to go to a Nissan dealer and hand over a ton of cash to get them to do it?

The easiest way to a fully functioning mirror is a replacement mate...pop the cover off the inside, undo three screw/bolts, throw the knackered one as far as you can and refit the working one you got earlier from the local scrappy in a reversal of removal fasion! other wise spend ages opening the dodgy one up to find stretched or broken adjustment cables...then bin it and go to the scrappy!
