New Stereo

Hi peeps

I want a new CD player for my k12 so I can play MP3's, but am worried about losing the steering controls. Can I get any stereo? I believe there's an interface lead thingy?

Any recommendations?

Don't worry, I won't even try to fit it myself, as you can probably tell I haven't got a clue. Can spend up to £100.

£100 for a new cd/mp3 player with steering controls? it could be a bit tight.

i know my friend got a pretty basic JVC/mp3 player for his car for £100 inc fitting.

Looks like I may need to pay more then. I'll maybe wait until next payday and start looking

You need a steering wheel interface / harness... it will plug into your existing controls.. unfortunately at first glance I cannot see one on the net... might be a good idea to ask a local car audio store...

Other option is get a new set up steering controls which is more expensive...

Third option... there are stereos out there with remote control and joy stick control e.g some Sony ones have a mountable joy-stick..
