Ed's passed and at the time it was km/h... In fact they wrote xxxxx KM on the MOT certificate

the goerment is thinkin about it, as a mile is to out of date, daft i think, this country is gettin to americanised, befor long we'l bee spending dollars not pounds, damn blair!
 
how come we cant use imperial measure to sell fruit and veg but we can measure our speed by it?? we dont use shillings anymore either!!

kmh is more accurate

i thought the yanks used mph?????????

Nah, the states is 100% imperial, everything's in miles, pounds, etc.

I heard this on newsbeat on my way back from Scotland, when I was at the Moto in Stirling lol, apparantly the cost to convert to metric would be £500m at least. I'd much rather that money was spent fixing and improving our roads than changing hundreds of thousands of signs and speedometers.
 
lol, i dont get any thing you guys just posted, i lost it at the cigertte bit lol! i got to the checkout to pay and i cant work out how to do wire transfer haha!
 
Wire is basically a bank transfer - probably best just to go to your bank with the details and say "i need €xxx sending to blah blah blah, here's the details"
 
Banks usually charge a fee when wiring money to places. I had to pay about £20 when getting money wired to Japan
 
hmmmm. When you tell somebody a distance. "Oh manchester is only 30 mile away" I have NO idea what it is in KM.

Also, they'll try and reduce speed limits too, they'll do 30mph = 30km/h 70mph=70km/h that's what they're gonna try :p

you would get used to it quickly,,its alot simpler to use,thats the whole point of it
