MY number plate is stuck

does anyone know how to get the number plates off without rippin half the paint off your car. i need to replace my number plate as its faded but i cant get the old one off as it glued on.

also does anyone know what to use to stick my new one back on as i dont want it to fall off lol

Heat up the plate with a hairdryer, then pull a bit of wire behind it and it should come off. If it doesn't come off don't be afraid to pull it hard it won't take the paint off.

Stick the new one on with numberplate sticky pads available from halfords and other places like it.

yeah just pulled mine off lol give it a good tug (pardon the pun) :glance: i know its old but it might help someone with a k12 who is stuck with plates lmao
