hi all iam new...first up is my 1998 s-reg k11. it has the follwing:

"A frontal impact airbag and its operating system must remain operational if the vehicle was originally manufactured with a frontal impact airbag."

There is a certification process you can go through for modifying vehicles and this can cover removing airbags although I'm not sure who & to what vehicles this is available. It won't be cheap.

I think it's generally accepted that airbags are beneficial in the event of a crash. The K11 isn't a particularly "safe" vehicle when it comes to having a crash. Generally there isn't a good reason for removing airbags.
