MOT question

I have a hole in my rear drivers side light about the size of a 10p coin.
It's on my facelift and my mother has a prefacelift and I was wondering is it just a straight swap or are they different?
I have mot next minth and I'm pretty sure that's be a fail

if they are a swap id give it ago at least to get u through mot as it would be a fail yes

The light unit itself will fit but the wiring is different. we swapped our pre facelift rear lights to facelift rear lights and had to alter the wiring.
if there is a hole in the lens aslong as there is no white light showing through the hole you'll be fine to put some clear tape over it just to stop the water getting in.
