heya people few quick questions .....

1)will my k11 pass the emissions test with induction cone fitted
2)does the mot center or emissions certificate mention anything about it being modified ?
3)is the mot linked to insurance yet ?

basically you can guess what im getting at....

1)In eyes of MOT a filter is a filter, you'll be fine.
2)I've always had a cone on and no mentions on it so don't worry.
3)Not really, insurance is protecting you, your car and the public, you can have insurance on a car declared off the road in case of theft etc
 
i don't think your insurance will go up if you tell them you have a different filter.
 
I rang admiral when i had my first micra and said how much more will my insurance be if i put a k and n induction kit on and they said they wouldn't insure me if i did!
 
really! my insurance said that it didn't matter because its just a different filter...
 
Mine said cause it alters the bhp of the car its a no no!Nex will you leave a trade rating for me please m8 for the bumper i sold you, cheers Ben
 
A filter doesnt make a difference to the MOT, there is nothing in the MOT manual saying that an aftermarket air filter is not allowed
