Modifying a standard seat runner to get more leg room

Hi,

Before I pull out a seat, has anyone modified the standard K10 runners to permit the seat to go back further? I would like a couple more inches legroom and don't want to get into all the universal subframe business etc. Any information appreciated.

my old one hear the modified runners, but my nissan dealer did it so I don't know how, but its possible

More legroom in a K10!? I am 6ft6" and I have my seat about 6 notches forward! I've no idea how to modify them but personally, I can't see why. :wasntme:

Your knees must be by your ears! I like driving with just a slight bend in my knees.

Oh, maybe we drive differently. I don't like driving with my arms stretched right out so I sit right back into my seat and somehow, I slot in quite nicely...

im 6ft 8 and i have the chair all the way back and with the seat lent , the only other thing i have done is taken some of the springs out from the bottom of the seat and now i sit lower and further back it is not just right, i duno how much weight it would take tho
