» CMF MemberI have a 1995 Super S which initially had misfiring problems under load at low revs. There was a lot of electrical corrosion in the coil tower on the distributor and cleaning this out cured the problem for a while until it furred up again. So I sourced a 2nd hand distributor from a breakers and recently fitted this. Apparently the micra it came off had been running fine and the coil tower and cap look in good condition. However, despite having fitted this my micra is still misfiring under load at low revs. From about 2500rpm upwards though it goes fine, better than before in fact. I've checked the timing etc. and everything seems spot on. It also idles ok. Has anyone got any ideas what the problem might be? Have I been sold a dud 2nd hand distributor? I'm beginning to despair?!!
