Only in the last couple of days my micras started reving all over the place loosing power. I took it to my mechanic and he said he fixed it but its exactly the same as when I dropped it it off (the mofo stung me $400 too). I have aready done the throttle body re-soldering but no improvment . My question is if I go to the GA15DE throttle body is it a straight bolt on??

So does your mechanic offer a warrenty on his service?

I'd be straight back down there and letting him take you for a drive in your car so he can expirience the issue you are talking about.

What did your mechanic say he did to fix the problem on your first visit?

Hi Akuma,

Sorry to hear you are having problems again with your micra. You certainly seem to have your fair share of bad luck.

I am afraid I can't speak from experience however, some British members have mentioned on this forum before that they were able to fit the GA15 throttle body without too many problems. I suspect your main problem will be finding one... my impression is they are rare and hard to find even in the UK.
