Hi all, I have a MAF sensor problem at the moment, but going off that subject I did once have a problem with the car starting first time, it would kinda turn over for 0.5 second without starting, and then next turn of the key bang it would start, what I have found is that if you turn the key hard over past the last point on the ignition it can break the electrical connection in the ignition switch, but if you turn the key just past the last point the car will start first time every time.
