I have a problem with my k12. This is how everything started i removed the cat in exhaust after 3 days of running well but notice it was smoking (blue smoke=burning oil) so it got worst and worst. So sunday i decided to strip down the engine. I saw my pistons was really bad and oil. I brought new rings, big ends, mains, valve stems, and all gaskets. I refit everything and assembly the engine back i started it up it idle very rough and if i rev it n few times when in limp mode so i knew something to do with vvt i strip back doen to the vanes (cams) i saw the vvt was at retarded position i then took conpressed air in the oil channel down move the vvt to advance position assembly everything start the car idle perfect rev up perfect. Now i test drive it it has poor performance and bad gas mileage. I really cant see what the problem is.
