Got a message from my old man this afternoon saying that the micra has failed it's MOT on brakes and suspension. It's funny cos last year, it sailed through with only one advisory on 'discolouration of an indicator'. Since the last test it has only covered about 3000 miles as well (total 22,000 on an N plate). Apparently the old girl has been in the garage for a week, having god only knows what done to it. Don't know exactly what the problems were but it can't be good if it's been in the garage that long. Just in time for xmas eh?

Well the Micra shock absorbers are pants, mine were a pile of crud until I changed them, they are prone to going after a few years, according to something I read, although can't rmember what.
What exactly did the brakes fail on??? Mine failed on rear brake valve, some WD40 sorted that 1 out though
