micra auto

Hi all, been having trouble with my 2000 automatic 1L micra. after around 1 mile of driving it stops and just revs in gear. i have tried Drive, low gear and reverse but it is the same. if i let it sit for say half an hour it starts driving again.

Please help

Check the springs on the micro switches, had a similar issue on the trike and fitted a secondary spring to it.
if the revs are to high when the switch is opened it won’t engage.

Thanks for the reply. Not too sure where the micro switches are to be honest.

On the throttle linkage underneath attached to the go faster pedal. First switch activated is the electrical clutch, the second one is the kick down. It’s the first one that gave me problems.

Hey there will check that now. Thank for that. It was running ok there for around 20 miles, then i lost power and the car just revved. Will check switches
