Im sure there has ben posts on this before but cant find them, how do i lower my steering wheel if it doesnt have a height adjuster?

i put a 17mm nyloc nut and a longer bolt (x2) on the top column mount on mine, it drops the wheel about 20mm

or...
i used some washers, just get good high tensile proper car bolt thingo's
you don't want them letting go at the wrong time
i salvaged some 12mm bolts from a wrecked subaru engine that were about 2cm longer and they did the trick nicely...

» CMF Memberyeh i havnt really had a good look around the steering column area but i will do this weekend and if it seems easy enough to swap **** then ill give it a go.
