Looking at buying a K12

Went looking at a K12 1.5dci today but have afew questions if someone could help.

Noticed the engine check light was on and a mess about this was displayed on the comp the guy said he had the battery of so just needs clearing which i find odd also the box seems noisy/noticy like its dry of oil but does engage okay is this normal.

Yeah, plenty of micras out there to choose from. My dci's gearbox doesn't sound noisy but being a diesel the engine is a bit.
