leftover pipe

hi guys,
I was trying to replace the metal pipe for the cooling system today, everything went fine except after I re-assembled all the parts, I found there is a pipe hanging around. Couldn't figure out where is that belongs to.
I traced down the pipe and it is coming from on top of the clutch, underneath the clutch lever. Does anyone know where is the right place to put this thing back?

it looks like the g/box breather hose. the other end is left open to air. From memory it is normally ziptied up near the intake tube to keep water out of it
