K12 Replacement Stereo - Advice

I pick up my 2006 K12 SE at the weekend, and I'm already thinking about the best replacement ICE. I really fancy a built in Sat Nav/DVD/mp3 combo, but as this is my first Micra, not sure on what is fitted as standard and the best replacement. Budget is always an issue also.

Any advice gratefully received.

Hi pinkmoo, I've got the Pioneer 3200dvd thing in mine, is yours double DIN ?

I am fairly sure it is, but have to confess to not being 100% sure. Also want to be sure whatever I go with is compatible with the remote control on the steering wheel!

I believe there is an adaptor somewhere on t'internet for the steering controls for the Pioneer. Be aware though, you install your lovely DVD capable headunit in your car and then realise there's absolutely no occasion EVER when you'd want to play an actual DVD in your car... :laugh:.
