K12 radio - replace with newer model?

I'd like to replace my stereo with a newer model, something that has Aux or Bluetooth - but I don't want my car to be broken into if people see I've a new stereo.

Is it possible to fit a Micra stereo from a newer model into the K12?

Or is there a later model k12 stereo that has Aux?

It has to fit into the dash, and it would be nice if I could continue with an OEM Micra stereo to deter thieves.

Hello

I believe that you can fit the stereo from the last of the K12. It has Bluetooth and Aux on the back, but I don't know what type of cable it uses.

Thanks but I think that's much deeper than the normal size of stereo, which I have, it looks about twice as deep.


Perhaps I'll call the dealer.

I just went to my local Auto Electrical Centre and they hooked me up with a radio with the full sherboodle and a wiring loom for just over £150. It fits the radio slot fine and comes with an extra bracket in case the old one won't fit. Doesn't seem to be working now so I'll have to disassemble the dash again
