I have seen a number of threads talking about a magic procedure to turn off a flashing airbag light.
However, my airbag light is permanently illuminated (along with the yellow passenger airbag light), and this procedure does not seem to clear it.
I've scanned for codes on my OBD device, but this doesn't seem to be producing any error codes.
Am I correct in assuming the permanently illuminated light means there's a more serious fault, i.e a completely severed connection rather than just a loose connection?
Is this something I'll need to head into a garage for them to properly clear the code?
