My daughters car dies of power going up hill in heatwave conditions outside,it revs put no power.
I’ve replaced sensor 2 but still no joy anyone know what it could be ?

Fuel pump not enough pressure, blocked fuel line or filter, air filter?

It’s been 3 weeks since last heatwave when it cut out,do think it could be electrical?

If it was electrical it’d be noticeable not just when it’s hot and going up hill. Fuel starvation seem the likely issue especially as you say it happens in those specific conditions. Hot air from the heatwave is less dense than cold air, engines need a mix of cold air and fuel to make combustion, sounds as if you are lacking at least one of those commodities.

I'd check the parts I mentioned earlier first, the air filter is the first thing to check, if that looks good then it's gotta be the fuel system next, Redex may actually make the issue worse.

When a car is going up hill it requires more fuel and more air to make it go so as you've been quite specific that it happens in heat and up hill then I reckon it is those things.

I’ve removed the fuel filter in the tank today.
I discovered that a lot of rust in the bottom of it .
Would this effect the running?
