K12 1.2 Auto what to look for and what to avoid.

Hey all.

Looking to get a Ulez capable vehicle to replace my Pre-FL K11.

I quite fancy a 1.2 K12 will be auto due to my license. I've read the early ones have chain issues? what are the common pitfalls and things to avoid.

Aiming for under 60k miles and hopefully a budget of £2.5k but that could change. Will be aiming to buy in late Autumn to New Year depends on work etc.

They are prone to rust under the headlight on passengers side.
Mine however had welding near the engine mount probably not ideal if the wheel arches are rusted out.
Don't have much info on the automatic I'm sure they are good tho.
