Hello everyone. Have a semi-urgent problem with my '99 K11. When I turn the key nothing happens except the odometer resets and the small digital display flashes with random figures (not numbers, just random lines). No cranking.
Prior to this happening I drove it to my garage, loosened the alternator and changed the outer belt. Tightened it up, turned the key and nothing happened except the reset.
Am I looking for a short somewhere? Or is it something obvious that I've missed?
Was supposed to go visit the girlfriends parents for the first time this weekend, so may turn out to be a blessing in disguise
(or worse: a long train ride)
