K11 Spoilers

Was just wondering what people feel looks better on a facelift K11

I kind of like the idea of having a breaklight in the spoiler, but I guess it'd be kind of redundant as facelift K11s have a 3rd brake light at the top of the rear windscreen.

If anyone has had experience with these type of spoilers, tell me what you think. With or without light?

Also, if can find any pics of the spoilers fitted that would be good. I'm at work right now with the manager hovering so I can't be seen looking at pictures of cars lol.

What spoiler is that? I've never seen one stick out that far before.

Personally I'm leaning more towards the JDM one at the moment, but I'd love to know if there are any others, or if anyone is even selling one

IMO a genuine Nismo spoiler is the nicest ones out there, however if you want the 3rd brake light, then you can get a wrap around (like the super s/ vibe/ SR etc specs have) spoiler from japan with the brake light in

A breaklight in the spoiler isn't something I definitely want. I just said I liked the idea of it. Doesn't mean I won't consider spoilers that don't have one. I like the Nismo spoiler as well, only thing is they don't seem to be many around. One other thing, you said "a genuine nismo spoiler". Does that mean there are fakes out there? If so, how do I tell what is genuine?

The one on ebay that you linked up is a replica of a nismo spoiler. It's the same shape and size... but a nismo one has a brake light and a little nismo badge... ill get a picture now

Thanks for that. You know what, i'm actually liking the look of the one you've posted johnbr6. It looks much nicer than the replica, especially with the nismo badge!

Just a damn shame there aren't any around, well, none that I can find

Words cannot convey how badly I want this!

Looks like something off a Starlet? There are loads of huge spoilers for them, I wonder if any fit the Micra.

i managed to navigate the site a little with help from google translate and they call it rear spoiler for k11 kp61 but i'm not sure if they mean it will fit both or its for k11 in style of the popular kp61 starlet spoiler.

my brother works with fiberglass and says he should be able to make pretty good copy for me
Depending on how it turns out i can ask if he would be willing to make a few more if you would be interested?

I'd be pretty interested, pending how it comes out of course!

If not I might do as Shaun said and have a crack at playing with Fiberglass myself. I'm sure the SR spoiler could be modified to have a nice lip.

my bro has nice bit of experience in fiberglass construction building boats, custom bumpers and bodykits. he is now employed making the fiberglass blades for wind turbines but of course i'll upload pictures wen its done so u can decide yourself
