K&n panel filter for k12 worth a buy ?

I gotta micra k12 1.4 sport is the K&N air filter worth a buy and what effects does it have on performance and noise etc

You'll probably gain 1 hp at most. Noise it will probably make that famous induction noise but quieter than normal as its in the standard setup

But the main advantage is its a lifetime filter. Simply clean, oil and refit

I invested in a BMC filter for £40 and there is definitely a noticeable difference in power and acceleration, but the best improvement is in the sound, I no longer hear the engine scream when I go beyond 2krpm and just hear a deep roar. The engine runs a lot quieter when sitting idle, I would recommend the upgrade from the stock filter
